MY 365 DAYS PHOTO PROJECT:

I'm committing to 365 days of photos and I'm going to start it tomorrow in the New Year of 2011. I will take at least one photo each day and post it to my blog in order to achieve this goal. So, I will be carrying my camera to almost every place I go. I wish I could keep it up until the end of the year. Wish me luck! :)

MOON GAZING

I've been waiting for a clear night sky since I got my first astronomical telescope at the beginning of the year. Last night was not the first night I took the telescope and the camera out to Mount Fortress for astronomical photo shooting. Many previous experiences disappointed me. The moon firstly appeared to be in a clear sight but mysteriously covered by thick clouds just right after setting all the equipment up. That was annoyed! So, last night I made it to capture the full moon under a clear night sky. You may find the photograph not be as clean and sharp as you expect it was, but I promise I'll do my best to improve my skills so that next time I can post something great and exotic for you to enjoy! MAKING YOUR OWN PHOTO BOOK

Recently, I found a bunch of online publishing companies providing printing services helping people to make their own photo book. They provide high quality books with reasonable price in very small quantities, and the books are just look like those commercially printed books! Isn't it cool to have your name printed on a book?!! :D

Here it is the book page I made using simple drag and drop actions. I ordered one hardcover copy with 20 pages and I got the book within two weeks. Here are two online publishing companies I have tried. One is "hypo.cc" and the other one is "blurb.com". Both are excellent and photograph  in good quality.

Dreaming is one of the most exciting activities I look forward to at night. I spend more than 1/3 of my time sleeping, and I always wake up remembering my dreams. I love to collect rocks from all the different places I visit, because every single rock is unique and holds a memory of my experience from visiting the place. I love to collect postcards as well.
